Permaculture Immersion

During this immersion, we will offer workshops exploring Permaculture from an Indigenous perspective, urban organic farming, building with cob, backyard composting, permaculture design, contour curves, terraces, the process of building a composting toilet, tools to develope your agritourism project and more.

The immersion will conclude with an optional sweat lodge/temazcal ceremony, offering space for healing and deeper connection with one another and the land..

Learning Goals & Opportunities
• Experience hands-on farming at an urban organic farm
• Learn the principles of permaculture design through a justice and equity lens
• Learn the process of how to build and maintain a composting toilet
• Participate in a hands-on cob building workshop
• Learn about Indigenous approaches to land stewardship and healing practices
• Meet and connect with other farmers and growers while building community
