OPEN BAR Takeover Series featuring Danny Childs of Slow Drinks

Kingfisher welcomes James Beard–nominated author and beverage consultant Danny Childs of Slow Drinks for one night only. Danny is a Kingfisher kindred spirit who is pioneering an approach to beverages that they whole-heartedly believe in and aim to practice here: transforming locally grown botanical ingredients into one-of-a-kind cocktails using biodiversity and sustainability as guiding lights.

Danny will be behind the bar at Kingfisher all night, starting at 6pm, taking over a portion of the menu to showcase his foraged and fermented concoctions featuring North Carolina's early summer bounty. Samson & Surrey is sponsoring the event and will be on site pouring neat samples as well. No ticket or registration necessary for this bar takeover - first come (just come!), first served.

During the day on the 26th, Kingfisher will also host a ticketed farm + foraging experience with Danny and Footnote Farm owner Sandi. Only 10 spots available, $100 each. More info @ www.kingfisherdurham.com/event.
