Omakase Dinners with Guest Chef Satoshi Katakura
Chef Satoshi Katakura joins Chef Billy Cotter at Dashi for the fourth year in a row for a collaborative series of omakase dinners. Satoshi is back in Durham to bring you a memorable evening of culinary collaboration in the izakaya. Each year Satoshi travels to Durham to collaborate with Billy for a unique omakase dinner series. Dashi's ownership first met Satoshi in 2014 at his izakaya in Tokyo, Hiro, where he crafts dishes with the freshest ingredients centered around the bounty of Japanese seafood. Since that first visit, Satoshi has joined Billy for omakase dinners at Dashi in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Dashi's team has also worked in the kitchen at Hiro during their 2017 trip to Tokyo!
