New Year’s Eve Dinner at Alley Twenty Six

Durham’s Alley Twenty Six is offering a four-course menu with cocktail pairings for New Year’s Eve night. The regular menu will not be available; however, caviar will be available a la carte. For $130 per person, diners will enjoy: an amuse ‘booze,’ and then choice of:

Starter:

Chicory Salad with Pickled Apple, Valdeon Blue Cheese, Bacon Lardon, Pecan and Lemon Dijon Vinaigrette

Seared Tuna with Fennel, Orange, Chilis, Arugula, Ginger and Anchovy Aioli

Beef Tartare with Shallot, Capers, Parsley, Horseradish Cream, Egg Yolk, Reggianito and Potato Chip

Entrees:

Roasted Delicata Squash with Kale, Lemon, Red Pepper Flake, Pickled Red Onion, Toasted Pepitas, Reggianito and Crispy Sage

Pan-Seared Scottish Salmon with Duck Fat Fingerlings, Mushroom Beurre Blanc, Capers, Lemon and Chili Oil

Rack of Lamb Chops with Carrot Ginger Puree, Quinoa, Melted Leeks, Cashew, Mint and Bourbon Rosemary Jus

Dessert:

Tiramisu with Coffee, Mascarpone, Lady Fingers and Cocoa Powder

Apple Fritters with Cinnamon and Salted Butter Caramel Ice Cream
