NC Queer Farmer Convergence

NC Queer Farmers Network will host the first ever NC Queer Farmer Convergence at Soul Sanctuary in Durham. The event will create spaces for queer and trans farmers, land stewards, and food justice workers to find community, solidarity, and networking in North Carolina. Guests will have opportunities to participate in community-building, skill shares, seed exchanges, shared meals, and more. Current, aspiring, and past farmers, gardeners, growers, landscapers, arborists, foresters, conservationists, land stewards, and food justice, security and sovereignty workers from across the Southeast are encouraged to attend. All proceeds will support the community accessibility of this event, future convergences, and NC Queer Farmers Network.

The convergence will include a talent show hosted by Stormie Daie, one of Durham’s finest drag queens, as well as a high energy dance party with creator, connector, and conjuror DJ Gemynii.

Tickets are available now through April 19 and include all meals highlighting locally grown produce prepared by local chefs Sera Cuni of The Root Cellar, Sicily Sierra of Kind Kitchen Group, and Saca Monk. Onsite camping is also available for attendees.
