Nature Walk at Hollow Rock Park
The Durham County Open Space Program will host a nature walk at Hollow Rock Nature Park as part of Durham County’s celebration of National County Government Month.
During this guided walk, participants will learn from Open Space staff about how Durham County government, other governments, local organizations, advisory boards, and the public work together to protect and care for important conservation lands. Participants will also learn about the unique ecology, geology, and human history of the park itself.
This event is open to individuals 5+. Participants under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. This event requires walking about 1.5 miles on natural surface trail over moderately hilly terrain.
