Mystery Ranch

Active since 2015, Mystery Ranch united with a shared love of the more off-the-beaten-path and forgotten records of the “Nashville Sound” era from the 1960s and 70s. The more sublime and dream-like the better. The eerie and melancholic side of George Jones, Jim Reeves, Patsy Cline, Marty Robbins, Glenn Campbell, and Ray Price are inspirations, though this is not a tribute band or corny novelty act. Performing mostly original songs, Mystery Ranch eschew beer-swilling, pickup-truck-selling bro-rock in favor of the craftsmanship, sentiment, and soul of a strange, vanished time.
