Move-A-Bull City Open Streets Event
Move-A-Bull City Open Streets is a free, car-free celebration of active living in the heart of downtown Durham. On Sunday, October 5, from 12–4 pm, Bike Durham and community partners will transform Blackwell, Corcoran, and Foster Streets into a vibrant public space where people can walk, bike, roll, and play without the stress of traffic.
The event invites everyone—residents and visitors of all ages and abilities—to experience city streets in a new way. Bring a bike, skates, a stroller, or just comfortable shoes and explore over a mile of open public space. Along the route you’ll find live music, dance and fitness demos, family-friendly games, art activities, and a pop-up “protected intersection” that showcases how our streets can support community health, creativity, and connection.
