Bassist Michael Feinberg is a rising star of the jazz and contemporary music scene. Raised in Atlanta, schooled in Miami, and residing in New York the award winning bassist brings an exemplary band to the Sharp 9 Gallery. Feinberg’s latest release Blues Variant, his debut on Criss Cross Records, showcases his eclectic approach to music which Creative Loafing describes as “embracing elements of pop music and the avant garde with a strong flair for jazz music of the here and now.”
