"Marc Chagall and the Bible" Exhibit Lecture

To mark the close of the exhibit "Marc Chagall and the Bible," Duke Initiatives in Theology and the Arts and Duke University Chapel will host Vivian R. Jacobson for a lecture on Marc Chagall's biblical imagination.

Jacobson is a premiere lecturer on the artist and author of "Sharing Chagall: A Memoir." Drawing on her close friendship and experience working closely with Chagall for many years, Jacobson will discuss the artist's engagement with the world of the Bible and its most widely known stories, such as Cain and Abel, Adam and Eve, and Daniel and the lion's den.

The lecture will take place at Duke Divinity School. It is free and open to the public. No registration required.
