Liz Cooper at The Pinhook
Liz Cooper is a Vermont-based singer-songwriter whose third album, New Day, captures a period of profound personal and artistic transformation. After relocating to Brooklyn, navigating the pandemic, and embracing her identity through her first queer relationship, Cooper reinvented her sound, moving from Americana roots into vibrant psychedelic pop. Teaching herself piano and producing her own work for the first time, she developed a more experimental, self-reliant creative process. Collaborating with Dan Molad, she explored bold textures and unconventional techniques. New Day reflects Cooper’s evolving self-awareness, emotional honesty, and commitment to creating music that authentically mirrors her ongoing journey of growth and discovery.
