Invasive Removal Workday

Join DPR and Eno River Association for an invasive removal workday at West Point on the Eno! Volunteers will work alongside staff from DPR's Outdoor Recreation and Eno River Association, assisting with various invasive removal tasks. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or new to workdays, they welcome all levels of experience. Staying for the entire workday is appreciated but not required. Volunteers must be 16 or older to participate. They'll provide the tools, gloves, and anything you will need for the day. For safety reasons, no power tools (chainsaws, etc.) are allowed. Please wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and long-sleeve shirts to protect against poison ivy and other hazards. Bring water, snacks, and insect repellent if you would like. This stewardship workday is a great way to get involved with your local community and contribute to the preservation of Durham's natural spaces! Your efforts will directly impact the park's beauty! Registration required.
