Intro To Jewelry Making, STACKING RINGS

In this segment of Intro to Jewelry, students will learn how to make stacker rings from start to finish. Brass and copper are included in the material fee of $15, paid directly to instructor upon arrival. If students would prefer to work in silver or silver 14k gold filled, they can pay a class fee of $10 and purchase the metal directly from the instructor during class.

Techniques we will be learning:

-How to use the torch to anneal

-Hammer/ texturing techniques

-Forming a ring

-Intro to soldering and ring sizing

-Finishing and polishing with the flex shaft and bench polisher

(btw Nanette’s studio has both AC + heat depending on the season!)
