Flower Portraits

Practice drawing from life in the Gardens as you stand at eye level with a plant to capture its essence on paper. You’ll be guided to make botanical sketches and natural gesture drawings in miniature and on a large scale using a variety of drawing tools to create an artful set of field studies to bring home. Julia Einstein, artist in residence at Raleigh City Farm, creates a welcoming, inclusive environment for artists of all skill levels. All materials are included in the cost.
