Durham Farmers’ Market 25th Anniversary Celebration Dinner

The Durham Farmers’ Market is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and Plum Southern Kitchen & Bar Executive Chef Trenton Shank has co-organized an incredible event with the DFM to celebrate!⁠⁠

Chef Trent shops at the Durham Farmers' Market every Saturday to source produce for Plum’s weekly menu, and is deeply invested in the longevity and growth of the market's equity initiatives. Together with DFM management staff and contributions from a handful of other local businesses, Trent has organized an anniversary dinner fundraiser event to help bolster the market's community programs.⁠

Enjoy a farm-to-table dinner to celebrate the market’s history, enjoy incredible dishes featuring ingredients from the farmers and crafters, and support the future of the market.⁠ Chef Trent and Chef David Lopez from Atomic Clock have created a delicious family style menu, full of seasonal, locally-raised and grown ingredients, with full-course vegetarian and vegan options. Diners will enjoy their meal alongside an enviable drink list from Botanist & Barrel and LouElla.⁠⁠

All funds raised from the dinner will support the projects central to the Durham Farmers’ Market’s mission to serve their farmers and local Durham community. Those projects include the Sprouts Club, Double Bucks, and the market’s educational programming.⁠
