Duke Reproductive Justice Conference

The Duke Women’s Center is hosting the annual Reproductive Justice Conference as part of Women’s History Month programming. They use SisterSong's definition of reproductive justice, described as “the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities.”

The 2026 conference theme, Boundaries, Bodies, and Bliss: Pleasure and Reproductive Justice Advocacy, seeks to interrogate the intersections of sex, sexual pleasure, and reproductive justice advocacy. Panel topics will include “Sex and Pleasure in the Media,” “The Intersections of Sexual Pleasure,” and more. Author, activist, educator, and influencer, Dr. Krystal Redman will lead a keynote session titled, "Pleasure is reproductive justice: Power, Bodily Autonomy, and the Fight for Liberation."

Registration is free! Breakfast and lunch will be provided to attendees!
