Duke AAAS 50th Anniversary Speaker Series: Dr. Ashon Crawley

Join Duke University as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of Black Studies at Duke with a lecture series featuring Duke AAAS alumni who will help define the next 50 years of Black Studies.

They begin with Dr. Ashon Crawley, who earned a Ph.D. in English and a certificate in African & African American Studies at Duke, and is now an associate professor of Religious Studies and African American & African Studies, at the University of Virginia.

The event will be held in the university's newest building, the Karsh Alumni and Visitor Center (2080 Duke University Rd., Durham). Parking is free and available.

A light reception will follow.
