Date Night-- make a ring together!

Looking for a creative date night idea? Join Nanette Pengelley of Hew Jewelry and make your own rings!

In this beginner friendly date night, you will learn how to make a ring from start to finish. This is intended for couples, but each booking is per person.

Brass and copper are included in the material fee of $15, paid directly to instructor upon arrival. If students would prefer to work in silver or silver 14k gold filled, they can pay a class fee of $10 and purchase the metal directly from the instructor during class.

Techniques you will be learning:

-How to use the torch to anneal

-Hammer/ texturing techniques

-Forming a ring

-Intro to soldering and ring sizing

-Finishing and polishing with the flex shaft and bench polisher

(btw Nanette’s studio has both AC + heat depending on the season!)
