CxffeeBlack to Africa: Film Screening and Q&A with Filmmaker
Hayti Film Next Level series presents a special screening of CxffeeBlack to Africa followed by a live Q&A with filmmaker Bartholomew Jones.
CxffeeBlack to Africa documents Jones and his team’s journey to the Guji Zone in Ethiopia to reclaim the stolen fruit—coffee—to establish a Black supply chain. He sees this as his way in to a 460 billion dollar industry that has profited from his ancestors through the slave trade since 1660, when the fruit was first stolen.
