Creek Critter Crawl
Join in for a Creek Week event celebrating the critters of Durham waterways! Search for and learn about critters with local herpetologists!
Get ready to meet real salamanders, frogs, bugs, and more! Led by Durham County's Stormwater Division and volunteers from the NC Herpetological Society, this Creek Week event is set up to be fun, informative, and great for families or individuals! Registration is recommended but not required.
This event is recommended for ages 6 and up
All children must be accompanied by an adult
Please wear water safe shoes and clothes suitable for the outdoors
Stay on paths and follow the group leader
Be mindful of wildlife and only handle critters as directed- do not remove any wildlife from the park
Feel free to bring water and/or snacks, but ensure that any trash leaves with you
