Concerts on the Creek: ¡Tumbao! with DJ G

This month, ¡Tumbao! with DJ G will create a multicultural experience that unites people from all walks of life. More than heart-pounding rhythms and irresistible melodies, the band provides a cultural journey that celebrates the rich traditions and diverse heritage of Latin America. Coming off from a record-setting international tour for the nine person Psychedelic Latin Fusion ensemble, – having shared the stage with Grammy Award winning acts like Kabaka Pyramid, Proyecto Uno, and legend Mavis Staples, with performances at stages such as the Grassroots Festival Circuit, The Smithsonian, a featured artist at Jazz in the Garden in Washington, DC and CocoJazz Fest in Lima, Peru – ¡Tumbao! has reached a new height of popularity, expanding its fanbase beyond its original Latin American and East Coast roots.

This event is free to attend and open to all. Free parking is located in the deck across the street at 3150 Elion Drive. When you arrive, walk through the outdoor breezeway to the courtyard and you will see the stage. House music begins at 2:30, with the performance starting at 3 p.m. There will be a brief intermission from 4-4:30 p.m. before the final set plays from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
