Bird-Watching: Pik-Kei Wong
Originally from Hong-Kong, Scotland-based choreographer Pik-Kei Wong explores gender, bodily-autonomy, and women’s desire, questioning eastern and western censorship of the female form in her striking and sometimes provocative work. Her solo performance invites you to examine your own feelings and assumptions around gender, the body, desire and sex. Making its US Premiere at Duke, Bird-Watching received an outstanding award when it premiered in Hong Kong in 2018 and five stars at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2023.
Please Note: This performance includes full-body nudity and engages with adult topics.
