BEERthoven: Evren Ozel, piano

World-class music, tasty beer, and a great cause! Take part in this playful trifecta at Atomic Clock Brewing, one of the best brewpubs in the Triangle. COT musicians and guest artists leave the concert stage to give you a front row seat for BEERthoven.

American pianist Evren Ozel takes over the taproom. He has been described as “an absolute wow” (Third Coast Review) and “an artist capable of lifting everyone to another level” (LaScena Musicale), praised for his blend of technical mastery and compelling artistry. He is the Bronze Medalist of the 17th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition (2025), where he also received the special prize for the Best Performance of a Mozart Concerto.

These pay-what-you-can events directly support The COT's education initiatives.All proceeds (suggested donation $25.00 per person) raised from BEERthoven events go directly towards The COT's educational programming, funding everything from Durham Fellows Da Capo school visits to school buses used to transport over 800 3rd graders to our Annual Education Concert!
