“Battle of the Braids” Competition

Hair Depot Durham proudly presents the “Battle of the Braids” Competition, an exciting live braiding event celebrating creativity, culture, and talent in the beauty industry.

Thirty talented braiders will compete live in front of an audience for prizes including $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place, a 65” TV for third place, and additional cash prizes. Competitors will be judged on speed, consistency, and neatness.

Hosted by Mae Rozayy, the event will also feature music, food trucks, special store deals, and a lively atmosphere for the community to enjoy.

“Battle of the Braids” is designed to highlight the artistry of braiding while bringing together local talent, entrepreneurs, and community members for a fun and engaging experience.
