ADF at The Fruit | Sara Shelton Mann and Jesse Zaritt
The American Dance Festival will premiere a new work by Sara Shelton Mann, in collaboration with Jesse Zaritt and Niall Jones. The work will expand to include a group of dance artists based in North Carolina. Together they will practice radical aliveness, attending to the questions and urgencies that arise between us. They will spend a week in an intensive creative and collaborative process, culminating in a new work of dance performance.

What are you dreaming?
"Extending a 9-year collaboration between Sara Shelton Mann and Jesse Zaritt, this work moves language, drawing, and movement into increasingly urgent choreographic formations. We wonder how to dance into and out of the conditions conditioning with us, how to source from the images arising from the eye of the heart. What possibilities of being with each other might we not yet be able to recognize, but be able to approach in our dancing, our dreaming together? Niall Jones joins us as dramaturg and sound/scenic/lighting designer."
