A Date with Death

Dive into the mysterious side of life and bring all your burning questions for a no-holds-barred chat about death, dying, grief, and things you can do with your body when life ends.

This panel dialogue with Jane Callahan (author and death doula), Ezra Dunlap, Sara Williams (Funeral Consumers Alliance NC), and Ellie Bautista (Duke Cancer) touches on topics in Callahan's recently released book, A Death Doula's Guide to a Meaningful End.

A Death Doula's Guide to a Meaningful End is a blend of personal stories, patient encounters, and applicable guidance for anyone thinking about how to have a better death (and life). Each chapter focuses on an end-of-life issue, ranging from grief to patient advocacy to emerging community care models.
