I am blown away by their customer service, and I highly recommend them. I had issues with some new roses, and they personally came out to check on things. They confirmed the rose in question was indeed incurable, and they kept true to their warranty and will be replacing it. The staff has all been very friendly and helpful, have answered any questions I needed on this and different subjects. They gave me advice on the right rose, etc. Their pamplets on proper care has been very helpful. Their rose selection is gorgeous, and all are healthy and happy. I will never buy roses from anywhere but here and will encourage my friends to go as well. Thank you, Witherspoon, for giving me nothing but positive interactions! Can't wait to visit again.

I bought 4 roses from them last summer and they all were healthy, good price and all 4 are still thriving. I definitely will buy more from them.

Parking was good, staff was friendly, the store was organized and clean and they had literature for new rose owners, which I was and I thought was a nice touch.

Witherspoon Rose Culture in Durham has more roses than I have excuses for not gardening sooner. It’s like nature’s version of a mic drop with rows of stunning blooms. And the staff? Friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient.

We finally traveled over to Durham to pick up a rose bush that was given to us as a Christmas gift. After walking around and enjoying the grounds, we purchased a second rose bush. The folks who helped us were very knowledgeable and friendly. The little shop is well-stocked with items that help beautify and protect your garden! The fragrance in the air is amazing as there are simply hundreds and hundreds of roses on-site. For years we have admired their display at the NC State Fair and we are glad that we finally took home some of their wonderful rose bushes!

Really excellent nursery focused on roses. If I didn't have deer I would buy so many. It's worth a trip in April just to see all the blooms even if you're not buying. They also have a beautiful selection of pots and trellises.
