Forget the wine! It should be called the "old-fashioned" bar. Not because it's old, but because breezy the bartender kills the drink. Well their wine is pretty good too and a great selection, but honestly who the hell wants that when you can order an old-fashioned with bullet bourbon?! I did not get any food, so I have no idea what the kitchen is like or if they even have one, so I'd call to find out if that's why you are going there. Let's now talk ambience: so you walk in, Breezy looks up and said hi asking you what you'd like to do and. You look up to a cozy little upstairs area, then to your left at the empty comfy couch-corner reserved for anti-social b*st*rds who do not desire to sit and converse with other drunks at the bar. The low-light conditions scream take off your coat, have a seat and relax. Breeze got you. Go there. You won't regret it.

Quaint little speakeasy style bar with a great wine selection. The K-pot French Malbec was recommended by the bartender and it was really good. Similar to Argentinian Malbecs but with a little bubble to it. I only wish they offered more in the way of food; we got the cheese board and it was ok. They allow smoking on the front patio, which is a shame because to get inside you have to walk through the smoke.

This place had a cute ambiance. The drinks seemed to be reasonably priced as well.

Nice venue to come out and chill. Good selection of libations and the food is reasonable. If your going there to see any performance, get there early so you have a place to sit as the space has limited seating and sight lines.

Great location. Clean and chill place to relax and shoot some pool. It does get busy on the weekends and becomes hard to find a table, but that is a good thing. Excellent draft beer selection as well. I love to take friends there for the first time. Never been disappointed.

Went there for a private event. I've been here in the past and its always a very mellow and has a good selection of beer, wine and spirits. It's good for hosting small events at this location. The downtown area of Durham has certainly developed in a big way. I expect more to come.

This place is cute, quaint, and has a wonderful atmosphere. The wine selection is great and so are the snacks. I went with a friend on a Friday night and it was the perfect amount of crowded. Not too many people and not too few. I will definitely be going back.

Great billards hall. About 10 full size tables in great shape. Good price ($9/hr), which beats shoving quarters into a crummy pool table. Good drinks, well priced. The owner/manager/bar tender takes great pride in the place, and it shows. Example: the women restroom is the neatest, cleanest and as nicely decorated as I've not only ever seen in a bar setting, but beats most restaurants. A small point to some, but is a good spot to see a place's commitment to looking good and being good.

Clean establishment where the vibe is chill , the drinks are strong and the pool tables are waiting. Fun and friendly crowd and great tunes playing. Loud enough to hear but soft enough to talk without having to yell. Lots of free parking all around and no cover to get in..

They've got pool tables, games and good music. Thought it gonna be a bit more busy on a Saturday night, but it wasn't so.

Edit as of 3/22/2022. I was notified that over 1000 people read my review (thanks!). I saw from the pictures that the tables now have proper billiard lights. I haven't been back to check out my other complaints, but I feel it's fair to change my 1-star to a 3-star for now. If they took the effort to make that one change (which isn't cheap), I have to believe they made other changes as well. I will make an effort to visit again this year. Original Review: For frame of reference I have been shooting pool for 27 years, have owned 2 pool tables and have played in leagues for most of that time. They don't have proper pool table lights. What they have are far too small, hang too low and cast shadows that affect playing. They have nothing to cover the windows which makes playing during the day very difficult with glare. The tables themselves are pretty nice and level, but the cloth is slow. While the playing surface was clean (after an hour of playing my hands weren't dirty), you could see a lot of dirt in the wedges where the rails meet the surface. Learn to brush! Plastic racks. Yuck! Looks like they were using a cue ball designed for bar boxes so perhaps that's why it was playing slow. Spring for a red dot or measles ball. After an hour playing there I was definitely not going to return, but what sealed the deal was the $9/hour charge. This is on a Sunday afternoon, not prime time. Completely out of line for the quality of table, cloth, lighting and equipment. I would consider coming back if all of those things were fixed and the price dropped by half. I'd rather drive 15 minutes extra to pool halls in Cary that have much better equipment and cost less per hour to play.

A regular for tobacco road sports cafe employees, we go a few times a month after our night shifts. Good drinks, fun bartenders, and lots of pool tables and dart boards available.

Decent place downtown to shoot pool. I'd return. We were the only folk wearing masks and that made me uncomfortable but we really didn't expect any covid protocols at a bar.
