Horrible school. Especially for the mentally disabled kids. The school counselors talk shit about most of the disabled or “weird” kids. School doesn’t do much about bullying, not a safe place for kids. The school lunches are normally horrible… at least they have the decency to put cops all around the school.. although it doesn’t stop kids from being jumped or threatened to be jumped. Do not recommend this school for anyone.

My daughter loves going to school. Open house was exciting- the teachers actually WANT to be there and have great energy. And, apparently, they kept that same energy the entire school year. I've seen her grow academically and personally. Looking forward to starting next school year at the new location.

The school isn’t great there so much bads about it school does nothing about bullying I’ve been bullied from kids and the school told them to stop and they kept doing it this school isn’t as good as people say it’s very dirty and the school is ghetto i mean it’s in down town Durham so they can’t do much, mostly every teacher I’ve had I always had a problem because of them

I'm in the 6th grade, and it's a great start. To a bright future. But I also know there's a lot of issues at DSA but it can always change.

Things are changing with the new administration. Kids are busy, but learning. This School gives you the tools/growth to be at a university/college
