Cole was the best coach! I’ve been here before and didn’t have a great time…this time though..AMAZING! He was so kind and helpful and actually helped me get better!! He is 15/10

What a fun night. Cole was an OUTSTANDING coach. We had 9 throwers of varying skill/experience level. It was great, and the tournament was a nail biter through the very last throw!!!!!

We had lots of fun and all of us learned how to throw.

We came for a walk in session and had a good time. One slight disappointment we had is that we just wanted to throw amongst ourselves in a smaller group and didn't realize the coach would be dictating what we were to do for the entire hour, so it wasn't as relaxing as we'd hoped. The venue was mostly empty and we asked the coach if our smaller group could move to one of the empty lanes next to us, but he refused. Then moved all of us there anyway 10 minutes later when the wood panel on the lane we were using broke which was a little annoying.
Some more flexibility for how the throwers want to spend their hour, ideally asking them beforehand if they want to full coaching experience or just casual throwing amongst themselves like most other axe throwing places let you do would be an improvement.

Went Axe Throwing for the first time and could not ask for a better coach. Cole was amazing! Super patient, extremely knowledgeable, and brought amazing energy to ensure the entire group was having a great time. Because this experience I’m considering joining a league.

OMG! My daughters took me there for my birthday. It was so much fun!!!! One of the best birthdays ever. Our coach was amazing. Shout out to Toots. If you can, ask for him. He made our experience so much fun.

This was our first time. We came out for a family activity. It was GREAT! Bradley the coach was constructive, engaging and a lot of fun. Fantastic experience for us first timers!! Highly recommend Urban Axes!!!

Our coach "toots" was amazing, ask for him! We had so much fun! Gives great pointers, let's you trash talk your friends as much or as little as you want and honestly I would bring this guy to hang out with us after axe throwing. Of course the axe throwing was amazing, various forms of competition that pitted us all against each other. 13/10 will be back again!

Just finished at urban axes for a company event. To say I was nervous is an understatement but Bradley and Kevin were awesome!! They were extremely patient with me and made the entire experience such a fun one. I think I may have just found a new hobby. The guys did such a great job with us!!

Great trainer and teacher (Cole). Great area to play. Not crowded. Lots of loud cheering encouraged and allowed. Every guy on team started as novice but improved, and we all loved and will play again.

Did a walk in Friday after work with my fiance and had a blast. Our instructor, Kristen, was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable helping us individually adjust our styles. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something unique to try out.
As for safety, it felt about as dangerous as top golf / drive shack.

Our instructor Cole was absolutely amazing and made our experience enjoyable. It was high energy and easy to learn. I will be attending again. This is also great for group or team bonding events.

My friends and I went for a birthday outing. Coach Dee was awesome. I was extremely nervous about the process, but Coach Dee worked with me to find a throwing technique that worked for me and I even hit the bullseye a couple of times. I had a wonderful time. It's a very unique experience, but I would definitely try it again.

I went to Urban Axes with a small group of friends to celebrate my 40th birthday. Some of us were nervous as first-timers, but Coach D really helped us get the hang of it! All of the staff was very kind and personable. There was a nice variety of drinks and an awesome view of a baseball game. We had a great time and look forward to going again.

We had thee best time there with Bradley! His coaching skills are amazing because after every instruction he suggested for me I immediately hit the target. He doesn’t hover over you and is personable. The actual activity is great and simply fun!

Came here with my husband's work group and had SO much fun! The instructors were knowledgeable and entertaining. They made axe throwing fun (and much easier than I expected)! Just know parking may be a concern depending on when you'll be in the area. Didn't diminish the experience at all, but a good thing to keep in mind.

We attended a Team Building event and could not be happier. From the first email that I received regarding reservations to the last invoice sent, everything was seamless. Maddie was super helpful in coordinating our event including catering and making sure we were set, the manager and team members working the desk were super attentive. Kevin, our Ax throwing guide deserves 5 stars on his own for being informative, patient and most of all fun! He was amazing. Definitely recommend!

My friends and I had such a good time at Urban Axes. Ari was our guide and we loved him! He made sure we had a safe and fun time, and his coaching really helped especially given that we are are un-athletic group. Would definitely go again!

Our girls night out at Urban Axes in Durham was a blast! The staff was friendly and helpful, guiding us through safety instructions and throwing techniques. Our coach, Dingo, kept the game moving along nicely and patiently answered all our questions. We enjoyed a little light competition between friends, drinks, and pizza picked up from next door.
Highly recommended for a fun night out with friends. Can't wait to go back!
