I LOVE this shop! Everyone who works there is so helpful and kind. They've given me excellent recommendations for dog and cat food, and toys that my cat goes mad over.
You can tell this company is well managed, as all of their team members truely enjoy what they're doing and are passionate about animal care.
They really stand behind the products they sell, and only carry products that meet their quality standards. They donate to local animal rescues, and are community minded.

I’ve shopped here a few times and my dog and I love it. Tonight, though, Sam went above and beyond to help us. She helped Lily pick out an awesome new harness and some yummy treats. Excellent service. I truly get like she cared about us. Give that woman a raise. :)

BEST DIY DOG WASH EVER, and so much more! This gem is easy to overlook, tucked away in the strip of stores beside Fresh Market. Now that I found it, I don’t care to go anywhere else in Durham for my pup’s spa treatment. (He’d prefer No spa but whatever, he loves the staff and treats and toys.) The dog wash has a plethora of shampoo and conditioner options, and they aren’t watered down like most places I’ve been. They also have real treats, and supplies for taking care of eyes, ears, noses, and paws. The only single item that could possibly be added is an apron. Also, they are less expensive than the other places I’ve been in Durham. That’s especially important because they have a great toy/food/treat/training/
everything supply - so I can buy other things while I’m there. They also support local animal rescue - I’ve seen adoptable cats there, as well as donation drives.

A few weeks ago, my niece and I were at the City Market location where they told us about the opportunity to have a private appointment. I booked a visit for my hound, Christy Milkyway, at this Durham location. This morning we went and met Monica. It was amazing. Christy, while a fine specimen of a dog, cannot be around other animals. Monica made our visit really amazing. Her knowledge of the products and options was very helpful. Christy is kind of hard to fit for a harness. Monica found the right one and fitted it to her. She also made great suggestions for a lead. The store is a dog heaven. They have the best treats and ALL the toy options. It is really wonderful that they offer private appointments. Saying this is the BEST pet store would still be an understatement. This was the associate who helped me find treats for my dog (who has been a treat troll lately). They suggested some sweet potato fries after I told them about how my pup has really been enjoying sweet taters lately. They showed me around the store and really added a wonderful ambiance to the whole experience. I greatly appreciate the selection here—things that you really can’t find anywhere else. There’s always something new there for my baby! I wish I could give them more stars!
