First time at this location. I had the Slavin Sundae. It was pretty good but very heavy. The place is very cool with lots of ice cream flavors. They even have seating on the upper level with a couple of tables on the balcony. -
Located in The Golden Belt, a cool old textile mill repurposed as combo living and retail space. Great atmosphere, better ice cream. Unique flavors. Coffee bourbon on the left, blackberry lemon on the right. -
Always a great collection of flavors!
Coffee bourbon was delicious
Other recommendations: strawberry honey, vegan cookies and cream. -
The ice cream is good, but I went there with my dog—who is medically certified as an emotional support animal for my daughter. I had visited on many occasions to enjoy their ice cream, and I was never turned away for bringing my dog along; he was always kept inside his carrier—clean and never allowed to touch the floor. However, when a specific employee saw me enter with the carrier and the dog inside it, she immediately told me I had to leave, stating that they do not accept dogs. She wouldn't even let me speak and was extremely rude. I have nothing against people of color, but this young woman—who has a dark complexion—really shouldn't be working at the front of the business; she has a terrible attitude. The other employees are always friendly and have never turned me away. On one occasion, someone asked about the dog; I explained that he serves as emotional support for my daughter, then I made my purchase and left the premises so as not to make other customers feel uncomfortable. But this particular employee was incredibly rude; she didn't ask any questions—she simply told me I had to leave. I do not intend to spend another dollar at that establishment. I urge anyone who owns a dog—or any animal—for emotional support purposes not to visit this place. I used to go there often, but I won't be spending another cent there ever again. -
Two Roosters has a pretty decent location here. The ice cream is pretty good for this area with a large variety of flavors that they boast about online which is great. Although, there is one big issue that undermines any goodwill that this establishment has.
Unfortunately, they have some incredibly unusual business practices in relation to their employees that I don’t quite stand for. Recently on some of their social media platforms they discussed how they treat their employees. In the picture shown here is one example of what expectations the establishment has for employees. Not a good look right? There’s more posts that unfortunately show this side that they have since taken down.
I’m hoping the owner corrects these expectations and creates a safer and more sustainable work environment for their employees.
