The staff is always super friendly and even took the time to tell us about the building's history. The ice cream flavors are impeccable and the rotation of flavors is something to look forward to. Fast service. Clean sitting area. Definitely recommend

Very delicious ice cream with lots of flavors. They have guest flavors and the staff are very friendly and allow you to try multiple flavors until you find your favorite. My favorite is cookies and cream. The lines maybe a little long but it is definitely worth it. This is a great ice cream and I'm planning to come back again.

Your heart would have to be frozen to not like good Ice cream in a great setting. The fresh waffle cone smell is all the advertising they need. I’m sure customers can’t help but drift over from the neighboring business. The cluster of food and drink linked by lawn for playing in historic buildings is just great.

Unpretentious and delicious, this place is the bomb. The ice cream is homey and served in generous portions, with classic staples as well as rotating seasonal flavors. There’s a great field for kids to run around in outside the shop. Best ice cream in Durham!

We love Two Roosters ice cream! Especially the milkshakes and Gabrielle makes the best milkshakes in Durham!
August 2023 - I am not able to make another review but would like to add that Xander and Cal also make phenomenal chocolate milkshakes and are always so kind and welcoming to us. Two Roosters remains our favorite ice cream shop in Durham!

Our experience here was good. The inside is small so there were people waiting outside to go in. The staff was friendly and we got our ice cream quickly. They serve good ice cream. They had both inside and outdoor seating areas. My only con would be that they don’t wear hair nets or anything. There was hair in my ice cream, possibly because they’re leaning over the bins when they scoop. They fixed the issue quickly by offering a fresh cup of ice cream which was nice. However it could’ve potentially been the same issue because the staff’s hair was still hanging and they still had to lean over to scoop.
The area around the shop was nice and we were able to enjoy our ice cream outside.

By far our favorite ice cream spot in durham. Flavors change every month with some staples that stay. I wish theyd bring back the Java oatmeal cookie! Always so creamy and small batch so it always tastes fresh. Great outdoor options for the family to have fun. Very little indoor seating.
