It’s hard to snag a seat at the cozy True Flavors diner on the weekends, but the inventive menu is truly worth the wait. You’re served a hot, buttermilk biscuit the second you sit down (try not to inhale it), and the menu is filled with delicious dishes like slow-roasted duck hash with roasted red peppers, thyme, shallots, and eggs, or the creamy four-cheese shrimp and grits with peppers, onions, fresh corn, sausage and eggs on the side.

Ambiance:
There was wallpaper & some pictures on the walls throughout the restaurant. Keeping in mind that it’s a diner…it was a little small. The wait however was similar to any other place 20-30 mins wait. As we sat it was noted that the tables were flipped pretty fast to accommodate those waiting.
Food:
We were served some complimentary biscuits and strawberry compote once we ordered. Those were tasty along with the jelly or syrup provided. They were dense and buttery. I thought that was a nice touch. The picture speak for itself. The pancakes were sweet so syrup wasn’t needed. The smoked sausage was cooked to perfection!! The prices were reasonable for the portions.

Small-ish cafe/diner with great food, fantastic service and fair prices. This was my 2nd visit in the past couple of years (we're out-of-towners) and the menu was much different this time around.
I ordered the Cajun Smoked Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit ($16). The presentation of the dish was 👌as we're the ingredients. I was a little hesitant about the habenero butter but it worked well and sounded spicier than it was. On the international hot food scale, I'd give it a 2.5. I would definitely have that again.
My wife had the Ultimate Biscuits and Gravy ($16) and chose the sausage option. It came with sliced tomatoes, red peppers, 2 eggs, and was swimming in a rich gravy. She thought most of the ingredients were tasty alone but when mixed together, it was a home run. This said, she found the sausage to have a strong flavor that wasn't altogether desirable, but worked fine when enjoined with the rest of the plate.
Our friend ordered the Hot Honey Chicken & Waffles ($21). The waffle was large and fluffy yet crispy. The boneless fried chicken was cooked perfectly. This dish was more spicy than my Cajun smoked sausage. I would rate it about a 3-3.5 (out of 10) on the international spiciness scale. More hot than I would have enjoyed, but not intolerable.
The waitstaff were attentive and very friendly, without hovering. The atmosphere was casual, clean, and tidy. -
This spot was exactly what my morning needed! My fiance & I were greeted at the door and seated at a clean table.
We were given a biscuit with the jam of the day: Strawberry. It was delicious! I ordered the duck biscuit & gravy potatoes. their gravy was a staple for me. My fiance ordered the chicken & waffles and it did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the hot honey on the chicken.
We will definitely come back when we are in town! -
it was a cute little place by other cute places. I got the blueberry honey butter chicken and waffles and the waffle and honey butter were good, but my chicken was grossly underseasoned. my friends both enjoyed their French toast, but remarked it was different than the last time they had had it. I came to the conclusion that the sweet stuff here was good, but their savory maybe needed a bit more umph. and, for it being alright, it was a little too highly-priced. I would be willing to come here again and try something different to redeem it more, but yeah, the food was mostly just alright. good service and a great atmosphere though!

Incredible food and very generous portions. Food came out super fast, Isaiah was so friendly and took care of us. I love the vibe here too, I was jamming with my brunch
I don't know how anyone has anything bad to say about this restaurant. 10/10 would recommend
