I used to love coming here because the staff is always really kind and I could find really good treasures with a little bit of time and hunting. But recently I feel like someone in management has lost their minds with the prices. This used to be my favorite place to buy art. But now they are “custom framing” random objects and charging an outrageous fee. Custom framing is really only a draw if it’s for a piece you are already attracted to and there’s not a frame already with it. But trying to charge $30 for a coloring page that’s been scribbled in is just shady. And also- something is only custom if the buyer has a say in the final design. Theres nothing custom about this. There shouldn’t be junk marked at $40 just because you guys framed it in your frame shop. Getting items for free and then trying to take advantage of your customers in this way is honestly gross and disappointing. I understand this is a business and you have to make money but I don’t know how you can justify that. -
I was today's years old when I stumbled across this thrift store. I knew Trosa for its work in the community,🚚 I will definitely be back.❤️ I have never seen so many pianos in 1 place.☺️ -
My wife and I love coming here. Always something new and friendly faces. Chris and Kenny were both a big help with the purchase of some new furniture and setting up the delivery. They were hardworking, friendly, and great to interact with throughout the process. Everything went smoothly, and we will certainly be back in the future. Thanks again! -
The thrift itself has tons of variety, which is the reason I’m giving it two stars. However, I have recently tried to purchase a piece of furniture to have delivered and I will think twice before I EVER do that again.
I purchased a dresser on 4/21. To be delivered on 5/4. I paid almost as much for the delivery as I did for the dresser.
The morning of 5/4, I get a call informing me that the door of the truck couldn’t be opened so my delivery had to be rescheduled for the following week. So, I’ve waited a week for the dresser and because you can’t get the door open I’m waiting another week?
Finally, after some back and forth - they magically got the door opened and were bringing me the dresser.
After arriving, asking where I wanted the dresser, the guy comes back to inform me the dresser is actually broken. My options are to go back to the store (that isn’t open today, that I took off for) and I can pick a new dresser (for them to ruin again in delivery???) or get a refund. The dresser was literally fine when I was in the store. I loved it so much & was so excited to not have my clothes in boxes. This was so much hassle and stress for a used dresser that I do NOT PLAN to use that service again. If I can’t haul it myself, I won’t buy it.
Updated to add: I just came to do my return. The manager I initially spoke with had to run some cash to the safe prior to assisting me, and then spent an additional five minutes or so playing with a random dog? So then another manager finally came over and completed the refund. As much as I want to support this cause, they’re making it very difficult.
It will definitely be awhile before I come back. -
I love going here whenever I'm in town. The place is so big and has so much to check out. I always leave with classic board games that you can't find anywhere else. The prices on everything are always good. If you like thrift shopping, this is some where you have to check out. You will not be disappointed.
