I don’t mind the masks at all as a member of a high risk household. The customer service, framing and delivery is always great But the pricing for furniture and housewares are getting unattainable. Pieces you get for free should not be the same if not more than retail pieces. I’ll still keep shopping for small items and clothes but furniture is just not possible.

This really is a good place to shop for used items, over a couple years I have bought a lot from Trosa. Today I bought a nice computer desk, I finally caught it when it was marked down. I spoke to an associate that was assisting me and I asked him if there would be a chance we could break the unit down a little so I could fit in my car. He was very helpful and got approval for it to be broke down so I could fit it in my car. The great part is they offer to delivery for a fee and I truly didn't have the money for the fee, Never once did the associate pressure me into looking in that as an option. This really made me feel good but for future possibility I might need them. The associates in the company are ALWAYS respectful and nice. I haven't came across anyone who wasn't professional. The guy's that help me get the desk in my car were super-helpful and they were funny! This is a place to go for great thrift items and great customer service.

Today I bought a dresser and two nightstands with granite tops and a couple throw rugs. Desmond was very friendly and helpful and kindly arranged delivery of my furniture. This is a great non profit and worthy of community support!

Love TROSA for the thrift store and what they do for the community. Everytime I come to the TROSA thrift store I come out with something unique or needed around my house. Lots of cool outfits I've found, as well. And for those that don't know, TROSA stands for triangle residential options for substance abusers. Talk to the employees and many will tell you TROSA saved their lives. Redeemed them. In a world filled with homeless substance abusers, TROSA is a light in the darkness. Thank you

I can’t say enough great things about how easy Trosa makes it to donate furniture. It was easy to schedule a time, and they sent me an itemized list of the items I was donating that I could change if needed. They showed up on time, and efficiently and carefully moved everything to their truck. I was given an itemized receipt and they were courteous. I hade to wait a couple of weeks for an appointment, but this was the second great experience I’ve had donating big items to them.

Great mission this organization serves. Can’t believe how much variety they have available at this location and we’re ALWAYS greeted or helped by such courteous folks. Prices can be a little high on some items but we’ve also found some fantastic deals. And management can be approached for negotiating. Great place to shop!

They have pretty much anything you could ever need and at great prices. Im pretty sure I filled my cart up with many different things, from clothes, shoes, kitchenware, stuffed animals and many other things and my total was shockingly low.... legit only $44. Great deals and the staff are friendly and helpful too!

Great thrift store, I got a golfing sweater here. I cannot stress the significance of that enough. Thank you TROSA, thank you.

Reuse and recycle the holidays. This store has decorations for every holiday. Every piece of plastic you take home with you is one piece of plastic that isn't going to wind up in the ocean. And, hey, rock bottom prices, too. A win-win for all.

One of the best thrift stores in all of Durham. They have a very large footprint that used to be a K-mart that is filled with a large variety of items- not just clothing, but furniture, building supplies, kitchen items, appliances, the list keeps on going. I have had a number of solid finds there over the years. They are now open again with limited hours for COVID-19 response. Masks are still requested inside the store as many employees have health concerns. The outside donation drop-off runs smoothly all day during their business hours.

As usual, I had a very pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I didn't find what I was looking for, but did purchase another item.
