My wife and I were in the mood for some burgers on Memorial Day. Some what a disappointment at this location. I had tried other locations and was very impressed with the food and service. Yesterday was no where near what I had told my wife in convincing her to give the Durham location a try. What makes it worse is that we were sitting right next the manager who was working on his laptop possibly doing the schedule the entire time we were there. He saw the issues we were having with our meal and not once did he check on us or any other diners in the restaurant. We ordered two burgers wings and sweet potato fries. Our fries came out with our wings. We were expecting the fries to come out with the burgers. When the burgers arrived, we had told the server that the fries should have came out with these burgers and now they are cold. She said no problem she will bring us more. She took the cold ones off the table. My wife’s burger bun was cold and not grilled. The server said no problem I will take it back and have them grill it. Which she took it back. She came back out with new sweet potato fries and my wife’s burger. They grilled the bun on the outside of the bun and the inside was still cold on the inside and not toasted(grilled). She said no problem she will take it back again and have them grill the inside. When the burger came back out a third time, now the bun had been grilled properly.
Both of us ordered our burgers with some pink. Both burgers were well done. At this point, we just were done sending food back and took a couple bites and did not want keep this poor girl running back and forth with no help from her manager who had watched all this take place right in front of him. We asked for boxes and the check. We were charged for two orders of sweet potato fries.
Our bill was over $70. For a meal we ended up giving to a man that was panhandling at the intersection close by.
That poor server tried but had no support or concern from her manager.

A few good vegan options like black bean and impossible patty melts (brioche bun is not vegan). Burger was tasty, but fixins are limited, so you can't really get exactly what you want. Pricey for what you get. Patio area had nice seating and service was fast. A few misses on order accuracy- missed jalapeños and pickles that were ordered. The sweet potato fries were a soggy disappointment. Would've considered a repeat visit, but not for the $30ish check ours ended up being for a burger and fries.

Have eaten here twice, same experience each time. Group of 3 people, all ordered burgers, burgers come out really quick. That’s great, except they are barely warm. They are clearly pre-cooking patties and using them as orders come in. Not made to order. This is just really overpriced fast food with fancy toppings.

Got the Cowboy Burger which was great the chili cheese fries are okay. Felt like they went light in the chili and queso. Which is fine because the whole thing was very under seasoned. It’s okay for what it is. Would eat again!!! Service was okay. The young lady at the register was great but the server that brought the food was blah. She flopped the food and the table and walked away telling my fries will be out shortly not letting me ask her a question. She could def stay in the back.

This was my first time at Town Hall Burger and Beer in Durham, NC, and I really enjoyed everything—from the food to the atmosphere. The vibe was welcoming, and the place had a great energy.
I had a burger that was juicy and absolutely delicious. It was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were spot on. The service was friendly, and I felt well taken care of throughout my visit.
Overall, I had a really nice time and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend for anyone in the area looking for great food and a fun atmosphere!

The food is wonderful and the patio is very nice. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. The patio is a great place to bring your kids and enjoy a beer. Unfortunately some kids were destroying the flowers but it seemed to be cleaned up quickly

Some of the best burgers you can get. Place is pretty busy every time we go, but it is well worth it and everyone is really nice. Great indoor and outdoor sitting, as well as a separated bar area.

Came to Town Hall for the first time and loved it. Sat at the bar and Jules was our bartender - amazing spark of energy, attentive, made us laugh a lot, and gave the best recommendations (pretzel bites and sweet potato fries- sooo good). We ordered two burgers and shared - Jules made note to have kitchen cut them in half before they came to us - that’s some customer service. We can’t wait to come back.

First time at this restaurant, we ordered a basic burger and the Mac & cheese burger, along with a side of tots to share. The burgers were good, but not enough to drive return business considering the price and the options. ($22.56 for the Mac burger and tots) We sat at the bar and the service started on a good note, but after the food was delivered we were never approached again. I placed my empty soda glass on the inside edge of the bar and it sat there for 20+ minutes…rumor is it may still be sitting there, never to be filled again.

Ordered the wings here in both versions of Buffalo sauce and loved both. You will enjoy them if you like a tangy and unique sauce. Absolutely loved the truffle parmesan fries as well. They have a great beer selection, and our server was extremely kind and helpful. I don't live in the area l, but if I did I would be here often!
Update: came back and had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Service was still great, food was still great. Photos are from recent visit.

Had our employee holiday meal here for about 20 people. Got with manager Jason the day before to provide our order as we would be there the following day when doors opened at 11am. Food started coming out shortly after arrival, everyone got the correct order, and it was delicious. Highly recommend this as a great dining experience.

Delicious burger and fries joint. I went at the request of a colleague, and I was very happy to try this place. I had a crazy burger on a lettuce wrap, and it was delicious. We also got the onion straws for the table and they went fast. Would be happy to come back any time I am nearby.

Great burger spot with lots of options! I liked that the chopped salad was loaded with toppings and that I had the option to an add a burger patty. Beer selection was also good! Fried were extra fresh and tasty.

Had a nice late lunch with the granddaughters..the burgers are delicious, I had the Montreal steak burger, granddaughter #1 had the Mac and cheese burger, granddaughter#2 had the chicken tender kids meal. We also had sweet potato waffle fries. Service was good, restaurant was clean, lovely afternoon.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with cheese and all the garden toppings. First thing is my chicken was fried. If I would have had a gluten allergy this would be a problem. Second, I had to take some of my garden off because it looked like this. Lettuce was brown and discolored and soggy. All of my pickle slices were in a pile on one side of my sandwich so the last bite was ALL pickle. The rest of the sandwich was good and my fries. Seems like they may have upped prices to manage the purchase of their new to-go containers. Also we were told they do not provide drinks to-go, only for dine in customers.
