Started by two friends with a dream, this pizza shop has become a beloved establishment for college students, families and more in the Bull City. A good experience overall. The atmosphere felt clean and welcoming, with a spacious layout and attentive staff. The presence of merch up front was a fun and unique touch that added some character to the place.
Cheese Pizza – 6.1 out of 10
Very cheesy—maybe just a little too much. A touch less cheese and a crispier crust would’ve balanced it better. The sauce had a good flavor, and the quality and price felt right. Solid pizza overall.
Chicken Broccoli Alfredo – 5.3 out of 10
It was okay. The chicken seemed more like cubed, pre-cooked chicken rather than freshly grilled. The sauce was average and lacked any standout flavor. Nothing bad, just not memorable. -
Decided to cone and try this pizza place. It is become one of the best option for pizza or pasta. This place just right up the street from Southpoint Mall. The pizza is delicious, and the size of the slice of pizza is so bigggg, same as the size of pepperoni. Fresh baked from the oven and also they have incredibly delicious pasta and chicken alfredo. Great atmosphere to sit and enjoy your meal.

Delicious!! Made a quick stop here with family and was not dissappinted. Got a couple slices, ceasar salad and kids chicken fingers. Great quick service as well. I would return to try their other selections.

So we are in town for a UNC field hockey tournament and I am a wing connoisseur. Put in Google search best wings near me and Tomato Jake’s showed up. The review pictures of the wings look great so we stopped in to give it a shot. The owner Glen right off the bat was extremely friendly and we engaged conversation for a good 15 minutes. He assured me that they have really good wings so I ordered some as well as pizza. Glen has got to be one of the nicest guys you can meet and the quality of service was beyond excellent. The wings lived up to everything he promised. Will definitely come back the next time we’re in town. If you’re looking for a place to get a quick bite and like wings/pizza/pasta Glen is your man. We appreciate the hospitality and will definitely be back.

First time visiting Tomato Jake's Pizzeria, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the wings and calzones, and both were absolutely delicious — full of flavor and clearly made with care. Since it was our first time, the staff took the time to walk us through the menu and help us with the order, which made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming rather than rushed. The sweetest touch of all: the owner, Jake, offered to make a pizza with my son, when we return the next time. You can tell this isn't just another chain pizza spot — the food quality and the genuine, personal touch from the team really stood out. We'll definitely be back!
