Celebrating my son's 40th birthday!!
The hostess was warm and receptive as we entered and were seated.
Skylar, our server, was pleasant and efficient. Our table runner was bubbly and chipper.
Food was delicious and filling! 😋 No knife required for the fall of the bone short ribs. Fork Tender!! The steak was prepared to cook.
Restaurant was clean and well maintained. The open kitchen is cool to watch depending on your vantage point.
Son had a really scrumptious slice of cheesecake with amazing fresh blackberries and blackberry sauce!! 😋😋😋 Not enough to time to snap a pic, we devoured it so quickly! 😉🤣

Went there for Valentine’s Day, and honestly, I wish that just once, trying a new restaurant would turn out to be a good experience.
First, we ordered two waters. There were so many black particles floating in my water. I asked them to replace it, and after a while, they brought two new glasses, but there were still black pieces in the water. I eventually gave up and didn’t drink any water at all.
They served pickles as well. I usually love pickles, but theirs were extremely salty and tasted terrible. I had to spit it out.
For our main dish, we ordered the surf and turf recommended by the server. The grilled shrimp had way too much seasoning in one spot and was incredibly salty. The ribeye was just okay.
Overall, I don’t think I will come back. The server was also not very attentive, and the whole experience felt like a struggle from start to finish. -
The Buffalo Burger I had was absolutely delicious. I practically inhaled it. Size of the restaurant is a bit small but cozy and there's ample parking outside. The waitress Maryina that served me and my business colleague was very nice and attentive.

I was really disappointed by the portion. I went for lunch, it was fairly empty. The service was fine, not overly chatty or friendly but he did the job. I ordered the bison nachos for $16.50. It was a pretty small plate, there were so little topping on it and only on the top layer. For that price, I would have hoped for a sizable portion loaded with toppings. There was barely any chili, some nacho cheese, a small sprinkle of pepper jack and tomatoes and 2 jalapeno slices. I asked for more jalapenos and received about 5 more slices. I got the huckleberry margarita which was good. For a $32 lunch bill, I still left hungry.

Great Concept, But Consistency Is Missing
I have given this restaurant many opportunities because I wanted it to become a reliable place for my family. Unfortunately, after 7–9 visits over the last year or two, the same problems continue.
Our most recent visit involved nearly an hour wait for burgers and a children's steak in a restaurant that was not busy. After expressing concern, the food arrived quickly, which suggests the issue was communication or kitchen execution.
Unfortunately, the meal quality did not match the price. The burger buns and fries were cold, the burger was overcooked, the broccoli was undercooked, and the presentation felt rushed. The steak was poor enough that management removed it from the bill.
This is disappointing because Ted's has the concept to be a great family restaurant. We are not looking for perfection—we are looking for consistency. A restaurant charging premium prices has to deliver a reliable experience.
I hope management takes a close look at ticket times, kitchen communication, food quality checks, and overall execution. I would genuinely like to return someday and have a reason to change this review.
