I am giving 1 star only because of Management and not Sutton Station Apartments. The office that manages Sutton station is out of their Pine Ridge office (both Ticon Properties) and the staff are less than pleasant to work with. I cannot speak for other residents, however, it seems to be a growing theme if you read the reviews under Pine Ridge.
I contacted the office in April to report an incident that happened on property. I also reported that the door to enter the building does not always lock after you enter. This leaves it open to anyone being able to enter, even if they do not live there. In the past, especially during warmer weather, there have been several different people sleeping on the sidewalks directly outside of these doors and the elevators (also a code is needed for entry). One last year became aggressive. Again, anyone can enter if the door is not secured. When I sent the e-mail reporting this, I had to follow up over a month later as I received no e-mail or phone call in return. When I finally did speak to the manager (again, after I had to call ), I was met with a non-caring attitude and what seemed more like rehearsed or canned responses. I stated this was a safety concern for all residents and that if the door could not be adjusted (to be fair, she did say she was looking into it), that a reasonable request to send an e-mail to Sutton Station residents making them aware would be a good idea. I was told they would not send an e-mail for "every little thing". She also asked what I wanted her to do. She also said that I was the only one that had contacted them about this. I responded that I just wanted them to do something. To that point there had been no response of any kind. Just because I was the first person to say something, doesn't mean that it isn't an issue. I said an e-mail to residents letting them know to be aware of a concern did not seam like that unreasonable of a request considering resident safety is not "every little thing". I walked away from this conversation with the strong impression they just do not care about the residents or their safety, and when you try to speak to them, the tone implies they are being bothered. But now, they have been made aware of the safety issue. I can only hope that nothing happens to me or anyone else due to their lack of response. -
I used to live here and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. It was safe and very quiet, not to mention the ease of the restaurants, health centers, pharmacy, dentist, and retail accessibility. I plan to move back once my employment is concluded in Atlanta. -
Amazing management team, thank you Katie and Desiree for making my transfer so pleasant and stress free. I have been leasing with Ticon Properties in the past but this is the very first time that everything went as planned. Katie has been amazing following up with me and answered all my questions very professionally and genuinely showed that she cares about her tenants. Katie you are amazing and so is your team. Again, thank you ladies! -
Son was driving to church when front drivers wheel separated from car. Residents were kind during the minor inconvenience. Mike from Lee’s Towing exhibited “excellent” customer service. -
The food is always good but check for your extra bread B4 u leave. I never receive it and I always forget to ask about it. 😆
