Great new music venue in Durham. The sound is great, the layout/size of the room is awesome, and the staff are killing it. Definitely excited to see more shows here.

A fantastic new venue joins the Durham music scene! Everything about Stanczyks - from the layout to sound and lighting - clearly shows a dedication to live music and its patrons. It’s awesome to have another spot for bands to land, complete with great drinks and delicious food nearby. Come out and catch a show sometime!

Dope venue. Sound system is the best I’ve heard in the area. Saw a band play here that I saw 2 weeks previously and it was unmatched. I’m also a fan on the origin of the venue name… we’re all just clowns 🤡 !! Feels very postmodern.

Was there to see some bands a few weeks ago. Great place/location. Good size to see music. Good beer menu with Polish beers too! Would recommend to the owners to install some sound panels to reduce the high frequency bouncing/volume from the brick surfaces, raise the stage another foot or two (it was hard to see from anywhere in the audience) and maybe have three bartenders during the busiest times. Would have bought more drinks but the wait wasn’t worth it (bartenders were hustling though!).
