I love smoothie king. This one in Durham doesn't have a Drive-thru like the one on University Drive. But it's okay because they have lots of goodies to buy inside. Gladiator protein. Protein cookies. All sorts of things. I got a chocolate activator shake yesterday with a scoop of peanut butter added to it. Delish! I will be a returning customer for sure!! -
Very unhygienic. Although our nation is taking many precautions to ward off the Corona Virus and we are all collectively doing the best we can with the resources at hand I cannot wrap my head around the lack of professionalism, organizational cleanliness or just simple common sense.
Below you’ll find this tub of strawberries on the counter out where each person including myself whom ordered anything with strawberries was served out of.
This tub is open, on the counter where each and every single customer who is picking up their order can pollute and contaminate. -
Very unhappy with my smoothies we ordered 2 44oz smoothies one was thick an filled to the top and the other one had more liquid it wasn’t mixed thoroughly and was missing about 8oz and they refused to fix it. That was pour service.

Falsely advertising their hours. Sign says open, door says open until 9p.m. No one is inside. From the employees to the poor marketing, this smoothie king needs to be better!

Saturday evening after a workout my sister, nephew and myself decided to go to Smoothie King. We verified online before heading that way operation hours. Online said closes at 9 pm. When we arrived it was 8:36 pm. As we approached the door it was clear there were no other customers, just us. The employee sees us and his mouth drops wide open and I look back like what??? He said awww man I’m closed y’all. So I look at my phone and tell him the current time, and let him know it says they open until 9 pm. He said the lobby is already closed and he’s there by himself but he’ll make us a smoothie. By this time we didn’t want it because if the lobby had different hours it needs to be updated online. Plus, he said he was there by himself like the line was out the door. This is how people ruin business names, pulling stunts like this to get out the building by 9 pm instead of closing at 9 pm. Smoothie King…I wonder how long he’s been doing this. 5 minutes til close possibly I can see him saying something to effect like he put everything up due to it’s so close to close. But 8:36….the lobby closed ANDDDDD he’s there by himself…he was reaching. Then had a nerve to say have a blessed night 😂 He knew he was wrong but didn’t care!
