Wow.. Had an appointment in Durham and my girl and I decided to get some seafood. Everybody listen up, Skrimp Shack, is the place to go. We got the Fat Combo, so we could try a number of items. Too much is eat all and well worth the money. We live in Lillington, NC and we definitely will make another trip just for this!! We hope to see you all here sometime.

My favorite new fish n shrimp place! Try the tacos the shrimp ones are awesome as they give a variety of ways to do them! And they are kind enough to let you have other sauce if you don't like. Tacos different ways with shrimp fish. Awesome collards being I prefer Turnip green mix! Friendly! Must be patient but good things come to those that are!🤩

Well now I work here, love the Skrimp Shack food wise and working there. Just really truthfully feel I could help with improvements on minor issues I've grasped this far. From my management experience in the fast food industry. But don't think management see's my worth honestly. But overall great company and business .

The shrimp tacos were great! Mouth full of shrimp in each bite and just the right amount of toppings. The service was fast, friendly and accurate. Unfortunately, there was no ketchup on the tables - should bottled with other condiments and on the tables.

Today I was in the mood for some fish. I stopped by this place because of its unique spelling. I was greetings by the cashier Optavia will a warm and pleasant hello. She was very helpful suggested that I turn my sandwich into a combo. I got the fried okra they were superb! Then another friendly face I think her name was Jennifer check on me and if the food was to my liking. Everything was just great from the service, the food they even welcomed me to come back. I will be sure to come back with great quality service like this!

A Black owned business, that provides the best fish fry in Durham in my humble opinion. Seriously, this place takes care of you, from the Po boys to the Dinner trays, if you want an authentic experience of southern fried fish and "Skrimp", you definitely need to go. 30/10 I'll forever recommend.

First time at this test. I had the fat flounder sandwich. It was delicious. My food came quick. Definitely returning to try other meals.

You get your money's worth in fish here when you order from the regular menu. I usually order one of the fish sandwiches and they are good. You get lots of fish on your sandwich. The fish is usually seasoned well enough so that you don't need extra stuff unless you really want it. It is cooked just right. I ordered from the Specials menu once and that was okay. There is a bench provided so that you can wait for your to-go order. The cashiers are friendly. I eat here when I'm in Durham.

I'm from NC, so I love my southern food. Now living in upstate New York, I don't get to eat it as often. Was visiting family in Durham, and decided to check them out. Everything is cooked to order & fresh. The "skrimp" and mac & cheese were seasoned perfectly. The fish and collards needed a bit of salt, but otherwise tasty. I'll definitely be going back, when I visit again.

Food is good, staff is very nice. I just have to share this, I have found out through an employee that when I tipped them, they do not ever get the tips! I was told that they are not even told where or who gets the tips, & I think that definitely is unfair. So from my personal experience working in the service industry, if you want to tip someone bc you always hand the tip directly to them to make sure they get it.

Stopped in for lunch and I do have to say the fish sandwich was very large, it was hot and the bun was very fresh. But When I go into a business I do like to feel like my business is welcomed, but i didn’t get that feeling here, the young lady who to my order didn’t have a very welcoming demeanor, no eye contact or thank you. Seemed like she just did not want to be there. There was a sign looking for help and one of the requirements was smiling faces, didn’t see that with her but I will go back for the sandwich,

From someone raised eating seafood I definitely give 5 stars. Food is cooked when ordered not under hot light. Would love to see expansion to include other seafood delights, such as fried crawfish tails, stuffed crab. Go and try the surf!

I loved this place! I had the shrimp and catfish poboy with sweet potato fries. It was delicious. The bread was crusty and the mild sauce gave just the right tang to the sandwich. I will definitely be a return customer.

The fish was good. The service was quick but they were out of lettuce and tomatoes. So the sandwich was dry and plain. And their spicy sauce was really sweet
