Since 2019 when I moved to North Carolina I have been searching for a great Chinese Restaurant that makes a Pu Pu Platter. I am so glad I came here. Everything was great. A little to greasy but I can always wash up afterwards. I will definitely come back.

Tonight’s food was on point! Whatever y’all have going on in the kitchen today, keep it up. Shanghai’s food is always consistent, but tonight needed a special Cheers! We appreciate this Durham staple. Don’t forget the house mustard!

We got catering from them for a large house party. Dina was so nice to work with! Her communication was clear and timely. She made good menu recommendations, accommodating vegetarians and taking into account varying tastes. The pricing was very reasonable. Love their chili oil! All food items were great, with cumin lamb being the star dish!

We made a very large take out order through their online system. It was easy to use and we had no issues. This was the first time we ordered from Shanghai. My entire family really enjoyed the food. It was delicious. When we picked up our order, they were so friendly and really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we ordered. We will definitely order from them again!

Nice local place to support. The food was better than I expected and is a reliable place to relax and grab Chinese out with friends or for take-out. The size of the restaurant is pretty big so there is usually a table available and plenty of parking.

Super friendly staff, excellent prices, delicious food and tea! No wait even though they were quite busy. The line of take out orders on the counter showed this is a local favorite for take-away too.
