Pretty sure these fellas can’t read + hate their jobs - the food lacked any semblance of care or love, and in this day and age we need all the love we can get, especially for 40$ plus. We asked for double cut and well done and nether request was fulfilled, one side jalapeños one side with garlic - no garlic - the cheese steak sub literally tasted like boiled meat I don’t know how anyone can serve a grey cheesesteak sandwich aaaaand it had so much mayonnaise you’d think it sank the Edmond Fitzgerald. I usually love Randy’s when it’s made with love - this meal had no love :( -
THIS LOCATION IS NOT THE SAME AS OTHERS.
I ordered from this location and got a Margherita pizza. Yes, upon rereading their menu, they list an olive oil base, no pizza sauce. Six out of eight locations have pizza sauce on it.
But since they insisted they made it just like on their menu, they refused to do anything about it.
Seriously, it was like a greasy pool. Gross. Not coming back. -
I was excited to try this location that was close to our home after having incredible food from a location near my office. Being gluten free, I had been super impressed with the size, taste, and price for the one I had previously had.
This location fell short in multiple spots. Nobody looked up or even acknowledged me when I walked in despite there being only one other customer waiting for their order inside. Our boxes were covered in burnt dust that even the employee tried to wipe away as he handed me our order, he just walked off not saying he was grabbing the rest of our items.
Remember the GF pizza I was excited to try? Yea, it was TINY! The size was not advertised anywhere when we ordered but it didn’t even measure 10” when I checked at home. They barely touched it with a cutter; the slices were either tiny and tore at the crust leaving all of the toppings to flop off or 1/3 of the size of the pizza with the remnants of the flop slice. The other pizza we ordered was also haphazardly cut with massive slices and tiny slices. I also found pieces of sausage in my pizza - the only meat I ordered was bacon because I cannot eat beef but alas there was a beef product on my food.
Thankfully the food tasted good but was not nearly the quality of the other location I had had. Take some care with the food you serve. We already pay a premium and then for it to fall short is rather disappointing. We will stick to our regular place down the street in the future. -
Ive ordered from Randy's a couple of times each time the pizza was a bit soggy from the middle of the slice down. I thought it was the dough not prepped right and tried to give it the benefit of the doubt because I work close by and it's convenient. Tonight I called in 2 slices and a coke for pick up. When I arrived I witnessed obe of the cooks taking out cold cheese pizza, putting pepperoni on it and reheating 2 slices. I was grossed out and asked if those were my slices. The gentleman said no and then grabbed a box out of the warmer. I asked if they had reheated my food or was it fresh. At first he lied and said it was fresh and then I opened the box and could see the pepperoni was not melted or cooked all the way. You could tell it has been warmed up and I said something. The cook then admitted that's how they cook their slices and said they've been open since 1995 so customers are ok with it. I told him that I ordered a pepperoni pizza slice not a reheated cheese slice with added pepperoni that you could tell was not cooked all the way. He replied he loves it. It now explains why the pizza is soggy. I was so grossed out. I didn't realize I was ordering left overs. I thought I was ordering fresh food. It's misleading and I'll never go back. -
Have been going here for a while now. The service is always consistent and staff always friendly - not to mention all of the ingredients they use are fresh. If you’re looking for a place to get good pizza in Durham, this is it. 10/10 would recommend for delivery. The combos are my favorite quick go to, usually ready in no more than 15-20 min. Definitely try the speciality pizzas, too!
