We came here on Christmas Eve and enjoyed ourselves loved the library. The food and drinks were great! They have a nice patio as well.

Wow what an amazing experience! The food is high quality filled with so much flavor 🤤 Once you enter you grab a menu and order at the bar. The service and environment is cozy, friendly and welcoming. The food didn't come out too quick, but I'm happy that it's not fast food and the prices are very affordable with great portions! Can't recommend Queeny's enough.

Cool little place with delicious food!! We ate a late lunch here. I ordered the Chicken Crispers which are battered tenders, and I really like that. I also ordered the charred green beans which are served with Asian inspired flavors and broccoli rabe. I enjoyed it; my husband didn’t because the broccoli rabe gave it a somewhat bitter taste (which is what I like about broccoli rabe). My husband had the cheeseburger which was really good. We initially thought the meat to bread ratio was off, but that turned out not to be true. The bread was soft enough to squish down not interfere with the burger taste/texture and the rest of the flavors. The bartenders were extremely friendly and welcoming. We sat at the bar (everything has to be ordered at the bar) and had lovely conversations with both bartenders. We ended up eating a late night (after a show) meal at another restaurant. I wish we’d have come back to Queeny’s. They’re open until 2 am. We’ll definitely come back to Queeny’s the next time we visit Durham. This really is a little gem of a restaurant!!

Stopped by Queeny's for a late lunch. Atmosphere was casual and fun. Drinks/cocktails were good. As expected for a bar. The food was surprisingly delicious. The burger was good and I would return for the birria french dip that my wife got. I'm glad she didn't finish hers so I could have it. A little pricey but all items were worth the cost. We went during a not busy time. The service could get behind during the rush but our experience was great.

Found this bar while wondering Durham with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. We got two beers and shared fried pickles and fries. The fried pickles were cut long like fries and had a great crunch. Fries are nothing special but not oily and cut like McDonald's. We later sat inside and watched live jazz music throughout the night and local drag queens come and go. It's a great lil bar and fun place to hang out at night.

From the outside you may notice the sign, think about how long this place has been here and continue to walk on by. It has an "old town Durham'' feel from the outside and until recently was not open for lunch. I work a 3 minute walk away and for 3 years have always wanted to have lunch there. We'll, it finally happened and everything far exceeded my expectations. This place is huge! It has nice inside seating with everything from large tables, well stocked bar, fun beers and small nooks to sit in if you just want to relax and enjoy the scene. Out back there is plenty of outdoor seating and you can even sit on the sidewalk out front if you want. The menu was not "same same", everything was fresh and prepared by people who cared. 13/10 for sure!
