I would first like to say I gave this place 5 stars on the food that they have. That doesn't mean I don't think they should add a few things to put on the burger. I might miss one but my options were cheese, pickle, onion and sauce. That's it. That's pretty good if you're not a hamburger place. Just my opinion maybe some lettuce, tomato, bacon and mayonnaise. I always write at the bottom of my review if I would come back or not. We are a family of 5 so dinner cost us $68.00 without tip and we split two large fries and had 3 waters. We will not be adding this to our regular rotation but only because of the cost. If you wanted to splurge a little before a show, it might be worth it. I will finish by saying thank you for the good food and clean restaurant.

This small business is amazing!!! The burgers are grass fed. They also offer veggie and vegan burgers as well. The menu online is a lot different than what's inside the restaurant (restaurant menu only shows burgers) so it could possibly be a mistake. But I have no complaints. It is located downtown so be mindful about parking and walking.

I’m not a big burger person so when I hear about good burgers that I have to try - I make it a point to visit when I can. Queen burger was SO good, def highly recommend. Quality in the food and their fire spiced fries were YUM. They also have a charred margarita that was really good if you enjoy spicy drinks. A lot of the negative reviews are around price point but honestly you have to pay for quality foods if that’s what you want to eat and I did not find them expensive for what I had. Go visit if you haven’t tried yet!

It was really delicious. Food came out fast, staff was super friendly. We got the Carolina Slaw Burger and the Double. A large side of fries with Fire Spice to share. The fries were super crispy and had a nice sweet hint to them (assuming the fire spice) with a good heat to them. The Carolina Slaw Burger was moist and had crispy edges. The Slaw was crunchy and the chili was very flavorful. The Double was the same as far as moist and crispy. We got the Special Sauce on it and, not sure if it was the sauce or part of the burger but it was a little heavy on the mustard flavor. Not so much so that we didn't like it, just a little strong. The only thing that turned me off was the price point. For 2 drinks, a large fry and the two burgers, it was roughly $42. QueenBurger markets itself as a fast food joint that uses fresh high quality ingredients. Grass fed beef directly from Durham, and house made veggie smash. In a world where fast food joints are super popular among teens and adults alike, QueenBurger could absolutely crush corporate competitors with the quality of food they have if there was a small price adjustment. They seem to already have the business to succeed (place is filled up as of this writing, but at almost $50 for two meals, it's a far cry from a quick bite with friends or family. As far as more bang for your buck with the same quality, there are other places.

Finally a burger place that cares about having flavor in the actual meat of the burger. Some other burger places add flavor by adding condiments and veggies while the meat is horrible by itself. At this place I realized that I could eat the burger by itself and enjoy flavor in every bite. If you like your burgers seasoned then come here. If you want your burger bland then go somewhere else. Some cultures like their food savory and full flavored and others like their food bland and without taste. Come be your own judge. I do wish the price was less but considering the price of rent downtown Durham I understand they need to earn enough profit to pay the bills.

Fell in love with Queen Burger when it started behind Kingfisher. Finally got a chance to try their new location and everything was wonderful. We had the classic and chili burgers, tried both type of fries (not pictured). The food was ready within a few minutes, brought to us, and took care of an issue with our order right away. This if officially our burger spot!!

Most places that sell a smash burger don’t actually sell a smash burger. Most places will sell a burger “smashed” but it’s the same thickness as a traditional burger and of course they are typically super dry with no actual crust and/or poorly seasoned. QueenBurger makes a proper, as good as it gets, smash burger. Perfectly salted and a crust that makes you question what a burger is supposed to be. The folks behind this place are plugged into the community and clearly did the legwork to figure out the right way to make this classic style of burger the right way. Can’t recommend here enough.

Wow, best burger I've had in Durham. I've been missing QueenBurger in my life since they've been planning to open their brick and mortar and it was truly worth the wait. I don't understand the "bad" reviews but this is my ideal burger. Thin smashed patties with decadent crispy edges, a mountain of onions, and the perfect burger sauce all cut by some fresh pickle slices. The fire spiced fries were also equally delicious and the metaphorical cherry on top. Will be returning (regularly)

Good grief, who are the folks ripping this place???? Have been waiting months in frustration for them to open the new spot and was SO HAPPY to get my fix! Anyway, in this day and age it is hard to imagine people NOT looking online at what they are getting to eat. If not, how can you be that upset by a burger? It's like going to a NY pizza place and being put out that they do not offer deep dish... QueenBurger makes a delicious burger and I am just happy to be able to get them again after the hiatus. Thanks again to the good people at QB

Opening day at ATC. Arrived and order taken at 11:38 with only a couple people in front of me. 11:55 order handed to me with a line out the door. So, come early. I recommend getting 2 burgers or a double to essentially be the equivalent to what you are used to. For me QueenBurger is like what a fast food restaurant would be if they used real ingredients to make your food. I had a double cheeseburger with the fire spiced fries. Both were really good. The burger is no frills but tasty. The fire spiced fries were fresh and tasted of Old Bay with a chile kick. I'll probably go with the sea salt next time. I did not have a drink or dessert, but it all looked appetizing. The staff was super friendly and helpful in what was an easy ordering process.
