The only reason I didn't give them all stars was due to the bar not having a television for my game this evening. Other than that this is my new spot. Cute, relaxing, nice music, such a vibe. My service was excellent (Kate) she was awesome with her knowledge of the menu and foods. She actually suggested my dessert which was the Zucchini cake (yum 😋) I hope to be seated with her again my next visit

An absolutely lovely spot to have dinner. The food is excellent. I love the vibes and the staff is all super friendly and hospitable. I may have a slight bias as they hosted our rehearsal dinner and welcome event for our wedding earlier this year and it was absolutely perfect. Totally recommend them for a wonderful dinner or a very special private event. Also the banana pudding is life-changing.

You can't order anything here that isn't amazing. It's fresh, local ingredients, prepared in an upscale southern style. I guarantee you didn't know how good southern food could be. Get the deviled eggs. You'll swear that the chicken sold its soul to the devil to get eggs that good. Everything here will make you happy.

OMGEEEEZZZZ, where do I begin. A friend suggested this spot and so we went. After a long day in the NC heat (we're from Delaware) this place was a perfect delight. We arrived about 20min early so we sat outside and the Manager gave us cold water while we waited. For starters we wanted everything on the menu, but we chose the Heirloom Tomato Salad (delicious like the tomatoes were selected just for us, fresh and juicy), Brisket Taco (tender and well seasoned), Cheddar Drop Biscuits (cheesy and fluffy), and the Allium Creamed Herbed Gnocchi (creamy, light and delicious). Our entrées included Shrimp and Grits and the Snapper. Dinner was phenomenal. The restaurant ambiance was clean and welcoming and our server was pleasant and have suggestions on what to order. We were traveling from Delaware and wanted something good to eat. So glad we stopped here. This place deserves an award!!!

The best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had! The sweet potatoes hushpuppies, cocktails, and homemade cake are phenomenal too. We’ve always gotten great service here.

The best gnocchi ever! Since the menu is based on seasonal ingredients, we will certainly return. Beautiful restaurant, and wonderful food. The ice cream sandwich was delightful!

Incredible food, incredible atmosphere, and even more incredible people! The Plum team, from the host team to the wait staff to the chefs to the owner, are so kind. They care about each other and delivering an excellent customer experience. The food is INCREDIBLE and leverages local and fresh ingredients while keeping the dishes unique. The staff take the time to talk with guests, share the stories behind the dishes and ingredients, and make everyone feel special. Would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely night out!

We worked with Plum to host a rehearsal dinner and welcome party the weekend of our wedding. They were great to work with throughout the process, and the food, drinks, and service on the day were impeccable; our guests all raved about the food (especially the desserts!). We'd highly recommend them for this kind of event (or anything else)!

I adore Plum. Given how small the menu is and the southern/farm to table vibe, they’re not the type of restaurant that normally interests me. And I think that’s why I took so long to give them a chance. The menu may be small, but everything they do, they really do well. Whether it’s oysters with mignonette granita, a brisket taco, chicken and dumplings or shrimp on toast, everything is thoughtfully seasoned, prepared and presented. I am not a dessert person, but I will not ever leave without having the banana pudding first or trying one of Emma’s cakes. I am extremely grateful to Lisa & Trent for being so present and making this a neighborhood hub. My friends and siblings see your restaurant as a place for casual dining, celebration and a place to bring the parents — everyone can find something good to eat in a lovely atmosphere. So much love to y’all!
