I liked the food! Hush puppies were my favorite. The collard greens were also really tasty but was a little too salty for my taste once it cooled down. I also liked the breading on the chicken and the sauce that came with it paired very nicely with it. Only complaint was that the chicken breast was a little dry. -
Very good food! I especially love the pork, it’s very flavorful. Brisket was tender but tasted more braised than smoked. We loved the fried oysters and fried chicken sandwich. Potato salad was very mayo heavy and I couldn’t finish it. Overall we enjoyed the food, atmosphere and would come back. -
My wife and I had an amazing time here. The food was excellent! I had the BBQ platter with cucumbers & onions along with mac-n-cheese. My wife had the BBQ sandwich with baked beans and coleslaw... We are looking forward to our next sit-down with them! -
How many times have gone by this restaurant without stopping?! We are so glad we finally did. Yummy food great service and fun atmosphere. We will return soon! We loved the pickle fries, quarter chicken and the brisket! -
Elevated North Carolina BBQ with a foodie flare. I went for the BBQ Classics and had an Arnold Palmer (with endless refills), the perfect refresher on a hot hot day, a BBQ wood smoked pulled pork plate with collard greens and Mac and cheese. All very good and made extra delish by their in house hot sauce. The plate came with the most delicious hush puppy balls and white shredded coleslaw. The portions were very generous. Had the from scratch banana pudding, which was nice, but not my fav I've ever had.
