Budget priced sushi that tastes great! This has become a regular rotation take out option for us. Buy one get one roll everyday covers their more simple rolls as well as their more extravagant fried options. The shrimp mango roll is universally loved in my house. The staff is always quick and friendly. If you love sushi, definitely worth your patronage.

Peony is a great place. I love their sushi. They also have a good mix of Chinese and Thai dishes. The atmosphere is nice, but sometimes too dim for me to see the menu depending on where we are seated. The service is fast and the servers are very efficient. The servers are nice and polite, but they are not overly friendly. I only to point this out because the service is very good, but none of the servers are bubbling with personality. If you are looking for that kind of fun interaction, you will not find it here. Overall, this is one of my top places for Asian food. The food is good and the portions are nice. I have never been disappointed by the food or the servers. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Another fantastic Durham restaurant in a strip mall. Inside, it is elegant and beautiful. The food is delicious, on the garlic side of the Asian fusion spectrum. Price is quite reasonable for lunch. The rice is delightful! A feature, not an afterthought... I highly recommend Peony.

While my child orders the same thing every time (steamed mini dumplings), there are so many great choices for adults that ensure we don't tire of this restaurant. Our favorites are nigiri, poke bowls, hot & spicy chicken, and fried tofu with veggies. Great service and healthy wine pours make for a relaxing weekday meal.

Found a spider in my bento box. They brought out another, which looked to be the exact same food, after about 5 minutes. The original took about 15 - 20. Didn't eat the meal but was still charged and only received a 15% discount. DID NOT PAY. Manager was rude but didn't object. Won't be returning.

Nothing much stands out here. The food is bland.. seems like it is just mixed together from precooked ingredients and then heated. My wife had Kung Pao chicken and the taste was not distinguishable form chicken with soy sauce on it. I had sushi. It was acceptable but you can get better at Tasu or almost any other restaurant that specializes in it. They do have a huge variety of choices. The decor was also very dark and drab. Not one spec of sunlight or window without a closed blind in the whole place. Service was fine but not hugely friendly.
