There's fun things to climb on and do even for older kids. Near Githens middle school. Short walk through a forest from Githens parking lot (ok path but sometimes has some mud) I like to go on the rope climbing area.

Put the phone down and get your butt outside! (And I recognize the irony of doing this review on a phone) #NothingToSeeHere

The trail was closed but I didn't know that when I took it. Was in bad shape. Hope it gets reopened soon. Saw a guy selling drugs from his car while I was there.

The playground is just down the trail and it's awesome! There are so many challenging climbing obstacles. The soccer field is really nice too!

Dont be deterred by the lack of a visable playground when you get to the parking lot. Park and follow the trail at the top of the round about. Not a 1/4 mile away is one of the most fun parks in the area. Super cool playground that is fun for kids and adults alike.

Lovely place. A little muddy and needs some fresh mulch on the play ground area. It also looks like there might be some significant issues with the storm water drainage.

I stopped in to do a walk. It's a nice park and is well maintained, but I don't think it is ideal for walking. It's more for playing basketball, and there's a park for children to play. However, as far as the walking trail, it is very short, and part of it is along the highway. There are much better places to do walking.

Cool once you get there but you either have to park at the church and cross a busy street with kids or park at the lot and walk through a sketchy path through the woods and go through a cutout in a wire fence. This place desperately needs more paved access and a little more visibility. You can’t see it from the street or the lot. I would not feel 100% comfortable being here alone with my kids.

Very cute park, has basketball and soccer fields, and nice trails. The lowlands trail was extremely muddy even without rain, so be aware.

Great little turf field tucked away. Decent parking. The rain washed some mud on the turf but wasn't a problem.

Parking can be a bit tight when the park is crowded, but it is a nice place; especially for soccer.

Fields are great. Parking is awful especially when folks block the roundabout.

Turf field with lines for soccer. Full court basketball. Bathrooms. Auxillary field. Only thing missing is place to eat a picnic, pizza, whatever.

Well kept park that has ample parking and space for activities! The front field is a popular spot for soccer and exercising outside. The basketball court is clean and easily accessible. To add to everything this park has there is even a wonderful nature trail that goes through the park!

Interesting playground that is a little tricky to maneuver to. If you follow Google's directions and enter the playground by way of the park entrance and soccer fields, it can be hard to figure out exactly where the playground is. If you are coming with toddlers or smaller kids, bring trikes or a wagon to help them on their way. It's a bit of a hike from the parking lot to the playground (and if your kid/s need to use the restroom while playing, it's that same hike back to the parking lot). But, once at the playground, it's a pretty neat space. This playground is outfitted with equipment from KOMPAN, a company that makes excellent climbing and free play equipment. You won't find a lot of very traditional playground pieces on a KOMPAN playground, but you will find a lot of fun. This playground does not offer a lot of share, so come prepared for sun between May and September. There are a couple pieces of equipment that are toddler friendly, but this is mostly a five and up playground.

We stopped here to let the kids release their energy. There’s no clear parking but there is a walking path through a fence into the school parking. Plenty for kids to do here and there’s a walking path with probably more things.
