From undergrad to a now near ending graduate experience, I’ve had such great experiences at the student bookstore on NCCU’s campus, with Brittany! From the moment I walked in, she was welcoming, patient, and genuinely eager to help. She goes above and beyond to make sure I found exactly what I needed, answering questions without rushing me and making the whole process completely stress-free, even over the phone!
It’s refreshing to see customer service that actually feels personal—especially on a busy college campus. Brittany is knowledgeable about textbooks, campus gear, and policies, and she handles everything with consummate professionalism and such a wonderful attitude. You can tell she truly cares about students and alumni and wants to make things easier, not harder.
Shoutout to “Bookstore Brittany” for setting the bar exceptionally high. Experiences like this make life so much better. If you’re an NCCU student or alumni shopping, ask for Brittany, she is hands-down the absolute best! With every ounce of Eagle pride I have (& that’s A LOT), I just wanted to say a sincere “Thank you, Girllllll!” Someone clock it & give her a raise! 🦅♥️🤏🏾 -
It was a great experience always when I am back on Campus with the young folks. They have alot of great gear for the rest of my fellow eagles to see. -
If you're a veteran, prepare to do the work for yourself like you're staff. Honestly, this bookstore was the WORST experience I have had as a student.
UPDATE: At the end of the Fall 2024 semester , I went to the bookstore to sell my books back to the college. In the beginning of the Fall semester, the MANAGER told me I should KEEP my books instead of return them. She said I could sell them back and make some extra money. Low and behold, out of nearly 10 books, THEY BOUGHT BACK O-N-E!!!! The others were discontinued. Honestly, this is THE WORST EXPERIENCE I have had at an HBCU. It was my first time "trying" it and MY LAST!!!!! They won't see me in the Spring.💯 That's why I have changed my rating from 2 ⭐'s to 1 ⭐ due to this particular incident. -
Wow! Wonderful steak restaurant! Wonderful menu of great meat and fish items. Great location. Great ambiance. Great main courses. Great side orders. Great desserts! When in Raleigh this is a must thing to do. Have dinner and dessert. Take a bag of leftovers home. Price is medium high but well worth it. Wow! What fun! Ask for a tour and history of Angus House. -
Long lines with only one register. Pricy!
