I’m just in town for a few days and visiting friends who recommended this spot! I went yesterday and tried the seasonal pecan praline latte. The barista was so nice and made a delicious latte!
Today, I went back and tried the butter beer latte while walking my friends’ dog, and the barista said I could bring him in. They’re adjacent to the nearby dog park and so dog friendly that they even have treats!! I sadly spilled the whole coffee this time before even taking a sip, but the barista didn’t hesitate to clean it up and for the team to make me a new drink. ❤️
They have free WiFi and lots of folks were inside working. Next time I visit town, I know this will be my go to spot!!!

What a gem! I came here after trying so many local spots (many are good), and Narrative stands out above the rest! My nephew got a hot chocolate, which he found particularly delightful: "Very smooth, warm and cozy; very chocolatey and milky without being too sweet."
I order the cortado to test any coffee shop because it's a difficult drink to perfect. Narrative hit it PERFECTLY, delivering a strong, smooth, flavorful drink with ideal microfoam.
Today I got a flavored lattte, and it was equally delicious. Quality is superb, music and ambiance are pleasant, dog- friendly, and a great spot to sit back and ease into a beautiful day. The staff are warm, friendly, quick, and attentive.

Omg! Their coffee ☕️ is fabulous! 10/10! The vibe is perfect! The coffee/lattes are phenomenal. The owner is quite gracious and helpful. I got the Cookie Butter Oat speciality latte, can we say, delish!?

Amazing coffee shop. The staff here are some if the nicest and most down to earth people. The coffee shop is perfect for doing some work, hanging with a friend or two to play a game, or to just have a lovely coffee and read a nice book. Ive been going here a couple days a week for a few months and the coffee, service, and space are some of the best in durham. Check it out and enjoy their specialty coffee menu!

I absolutely love when coffee shops have fun interesting coffee flavors and Narrative did not dissappoint!! First off I got the seasonal flavor Maple Bourbon Latte which was delicious! The music and atmosphere were relaxed, modern, organic, and comfortable. The music was a good volume and offered a slowed, relaxed low fi vibe. There are plenty of outlets which I much appreciate!! The owner was very kind and welcoming and I will definitely be back again!

Need a mid- morning pick me up? This place is great! Delicious coffee choices, hot or iced. Helpful and friendly service. Cookie Butter Oat is so yummy. I'll be back again to try the Saturday Morning next time!

The coffee here is incredible! The banana bread is really delicious too. This place has a really cool chill vibe and modern look. Awesome place to hang out and have a cup of coffee.

Love narrative coffee and this new space is lovely, it’s a beautiful and serene space with great natural light and wonderful background music. It’s perfect for working with outlets all over to charge devices. Their drinks are always perfectly made and flavored. The outdoor space is also pretty wonderful. I didn’t have any food this time around but the pastries did look great!

Absolutely loved my experience at Narrative Coffee Company! Both baristas were amazing super friendly, welcoming, and clearly know their craft. The coffee was excellent, flavorful, and perfectly made. 10/10, highly recommend! I’ll definitely be back. This place is a gem!
